Prior to starting the press conference in earnest, Coach Danielson took a moment to acknowledge what a heavy week the bye week had been, outside of football, with the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the anniversary of 9/11. He said he had taken the opportunity to speak with the players about both things.
Afterwards, he discussed Air Force and the unique challenges they present. The coordinators both spoke about the same thing, with coach Chinander dropping a CRAZY stat about how few players on the current roster have ever actually played against the Air Force: 3 😬
