1. First Big Game of the Season

Yes, I know that this isn’t the Wichita State of old with Gregg Marshall and they haven’t really been the same since his resignation, but this should still be a good game as they are off to a 3-0 start heading into ExtraMile Arena tonight. They are going to be hungry to beat us as this is the first ever meeting between these two schools.

2. Resume Watch

Well… there is a result that we all know about and probably don’t want to ever mention again so I’ll let the chart above say it for me. Currently we are *technically* 3-0 with 1 Q3 win and 2 Q4 wins according to the NET which places us at 44 currently. Tonight will be another Q3 opportunity, and our first Q1/Q2 opportunity won’t come until the MAUI Invitational against USC which will be a Q2 game as it currently stands.

There really aren’t many highlights available for our basketball team this season, so get hyped by watching some from our demolition of Utah Valley

Kenyon Giles, G

The Senior has been absolutely phenominal on offense putting up 19.7 PPG on 60% from the field and 63% from beyond the arc. The Broncos should have their hands full trying to guard him, and hopefully they’re up to the task.

Keys to Victory

Let Meadow & Buchanan cook

Both players have been playing very well this season, lets hope they keep that up tonight if we want to walk away with the win.

Keep Kenyon Giles in check

While he has been an absolute force on offense, he hasn’t been excelling at the playmaking aspect at just 1 APG, keep him in check and we should be able to hold their offense to a lower scoring game.

Score Prediction

While optimism might be hard to find for our team this year, I think we get something solid tonight that can hopefully bring this basketball team back up.
