The loss to Washington isn’t surprising, but the humiliating way that we lost is.

Alas, once again we fail utterly against a P-5 team. Twelve years ago, we could compete with any team in the nation. This is sadly no longer true. We can win our mediocre conference but we can no longer defeat the big kids. Why? Some of this is due to the changes in the game. The gap between the haves and have nots has widened immensely with the transfer portal and NIL. And some of it is coaching. Spencer Danielson is no Chris Petersen. Unfortunately, Spencer is young, inexperienced and wants to be liked.
Age and experience come naturally in time. Needing to be liked is a character flaw that must be overcome through serious introspection.
