How’d he get to The Blue™?

Mr. Edward comes to Boise State by way of the transfer portal earlier this year (back in January) Central Washington University. The transfer portal giveth every so often. Not much of an official recruiting profile coming out of high school but Edward did a good by choosing Boise State regardless.

Career Highlights

While at Central Washington Edward was the 2024 Lone Star Conference Defensive Freshman of the Year, when he had 24 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and a fumble recovery. In 2025 he was All-Lone Star Conference Defensive First team. Last year he had 41 tackles, seven sacks. So, yeah, he’s kind of good.

2026 Prospectus

Hearkening back to yesterday, the DL is going to need some folks to shine and, well, Edward looks to be one of those guys to do that. He’s got the experience to make an impact and, hopefully, the leadership potential to show the younger players how to do it. Moving to the PAC12 is going to be a change for everyone so here’s the chance to hit that ground running.
