A former three-star out of Skyview HS Mr. Packer would be considered ‘undersized’ but the Broncos saw all they needed to after performing well at a team camp. He would go on to sign in December 2024 and the rest was, as they say, history.

Among other offers Packer had interest from Air Force, UNR, and some other FCS schools.

Career Highlights

Last year Mr. Packer kept a an old school redshirt in that he didn’t see any games last year. Which is cool. Sometimes that’s how it goes. In high school Parker was the GSHL Offensive Player of the Year. Had 2,975 all-purpose yards and 32 touchdowns in 27 games. Talk about productive!

2026 Prospectus

Well if there is any time to have a breakout season in the WR corps this would probably be a good time. Though I do feel like the scrappy undersized WR role is going to be fill with Ben Ford (and he’s going into his six season). The Broncos do have two WRs that have been brought in from the portal (Darren Morris from Southern, and Akeem Wright from De Anza College / Mount Union), both of whom are seniors. So the crystal ball says there is a wide-open race to be WR1 and someone is going to have to fill it.

While it’s a common theory that the Green Bay Packers got their name from the Indian Packing Company (a meat-canning business in the area) really it came from a bunch of Gavin’s family just hanging out in Green Bay one summer.
