Apologies for the tardiness here folks, still riding the high of that US World Cup game tonight. If you missed it, the highlights are worth it. But speaking of something else you should be excited about, I present: Terrious Favors

#85, Terrious Favors, Freshman, WR

Stats

Height:5’9

Weight: 163

High school: Carver HS (Atlanta, GA)

How’d he get to The Blue™?

A lot of Bronco fans got a little nervous when Georgia started to wonder why they were letting this guy leave their backyard, but he never wavered. The 4-star recruit made a connection with the Broncos early on and committed in January 2025. As of present, 24/7 has him as the 9th-best recruit in Boise State history, spurning a plentitude of P5 interest to make what is ultimately, if we are being objective here, the right choice.

Nickname

“Party”

Not for any proclivity to attend parties, Terrious Favors will be handing out footballs like party favors with the amount of times he’ll be visiting the promised land this season.

Okay this one is probably a stretch, but after seeing Balogun tonight for the USMNT, this would be a perfect comp for Favors. Balogun choose to represent the US when he could’ve likely played for England, and ended up making a huge difference for the Stars and Stripes. That’s what I hope Favors is this year for the Broncos. He had some big time offers, but we’re glad to have him in Boise, and I hope he’ll be a difference-maker.

Career Highlights

2026 Prospectus

The kind of guy that can make an impact right away. Favors enters as one of the highest rated recruits in Boise State history and has the speed to be absolute difference maker. His 24/7 eval (which I should note he’s maybe the only player I’ve written about that’s even been good enough to have a scouting eval) says that he has the “burst and agility to produce chunk plays for a College Football Playoff contender”.

Somehow, someway, we will see Favors on the field this year, whether that’s lined up in the slot or returning kicks. It’s hard to put too many expectations on a freshman, but if he lives up to the hype, the Broncos could *win* a playoff game in 2026.

Is he on Twitter?

Okay he is, and he’s pretty funny too:

Completely made up fact

The tweet above actually alludes to the fact that Favors was initially recruited as a Connect 4 athlete. Ultimately, once the coaches realized he had legit rack speed, they sent him an offer. (For iMessage Pool).
