The countdown waits for no one. Today, we present Mr. 45:
#45, Troy Grizzle, RS Sophomore, TE

Stats
Height: 6’3
Weight: 246
High school: Mountain View HS (Meridian, ID)
How’d he get to The Blue™?
The 2-star walk-on actually committed as an EDGE/LS per his recruitment graphic, but has since joined the TE brotherhood. He was a two-sport athlete in school (football and wrestling) and was the defensive MVP of the Idaho East-West Shrine Bowl. As for how he got to The Blue, my guess would be Google Maps.
Nickname
“Bear”
Is Bear Grylls still doing survival TV? Might be time to let Grizzle show the world how to easily survive the PAC-12.
Look-alike

What is Andrew Garfield up to these days? Idk, but I know it’s not being a reliable special teams guy.
Career Highlights
Considering how often fire drills actually work on FG, this might have been the play of the year. Rewatched this one at least 20 times today.
2026 Prospectus
Getting reps on special teams isn’t nothing. Grizzle is likely still behind Wagner and Terry on the depth chart, but once you’re on the field, you can make things happen. Possibility we could see him on some jumbo packages and maybe get another target or two in 2026.
Is he on Twitter?
Honestly? Not really. But still give him a follow: @troy_grizzle
Completely made up fact
Troy Grizzle flosses daily, becoming the first person to ever floss daily for more than one day. Dentists everywhere are astonished.

“Bear” is very good. But I really like “Touchdown Troy.”
