The former three-star freshman out of Melissa followed his older brother, fellow Bronco Lincoln Dunn, to Boise State to wreak some havoc. Dunn was a top-20 linebacker in the state of Texas according to On3. He led Melissa HS to a 10-2 record.

Dunn also had offers from Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Arkansas State, Memphis, South Florida, Washington State, Air Force, Army, Bowling Green, and–well–a lot more schools that i just don’t feel like mentioning.

He’s a true freshman. On a team that brought in Lewis (yesterday’s countdown) to infuse some experience in the LB corp. When you’re a squad that is constantly aiming for top-25 (at minimum) you need to have the guys ready to go. Crystal ball on this one, Mr. Dunn redshirts this year. Maybe sees four games in cleanup or special teams but doubtful meaningful minutes.
