By way of the juco route (and a temporary commitment to UNR) Mr. Lewis decided the Boise State version of blue was the CORRECT version. He was not wrong.

Lewis had a pretty active juco career at Chaffey with 73 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, two interceptions, one fumble recovery, and three pass break ups. Impressive.

2026 Prospectus

There is going to be a lot of opportunity for the LB corps to make a name for themselves this year. They’ll need to. Notarainni moving on is a big hole for the defense so getting a guy that has already shown production at the juco level is a good sign. Along with Boen Phelps this could be a formidable one-two punch.
