I think if we’re being realistic, it would take an injury plague of epic proportions or the revelation that Ashton Jeanty wants to be Keilan Chavies when he grows up for him to see too many snaps this year, and I wouldn’t mind the second option. I think the ideal is seeing him get some snaps this season before making it big in year two.

You know how sometimes you get those football players that have those craaaazy names but actually they’re just nicknames everyone calls them? Well, Chavies is actually known as “Cookie”, but he didn’t want to be so performative about it.
Another year in the weight room and put #2 on his back. In some of those high school clips, he sure looked like good ol’ #2. Especially a spin move he put on a tackler.
