You guys should feel lucky the way I really stretch the definition of day with these countdowns, like, who else is putting out fresh content at 11pm? Anyways, let’s talk about JeRico Washington:
#15, JeRico Washington Jr, Senior, DB

Stats
Height: 5’9
Weight: 185
High school: Westlake HS (Atlanta, Georgia)
How’d he get to The Blue™?
JeRico made his name at Kennesaw State, a squad that made a shocking turnaround in short time, going from 2-10 in 2024 to a 10-win conference championship season in 2025. With two years of all-conference honors under his belt in his freshman and sophomore seasons, he hit the portal, correctly choosing the Broncos.
Nickname
“The Wall”
Difference is that it’s gonna make more than marching to break down this wall.
Look-alike

The lookalike machine surprised me with this pull. While Big Mike certainly wasn’t DB sized, he was an elite character on Chuck, just as we hope JeRico will be elite on The Blue.
Career Highlights
He started in all 14 games at Kennesaw State a year ago, amassing 52 tackles (37 solo) and 12 pass breakups, earning him 2nd Team All-Conference USA honors.
2026 Prospectus
High expectations for the kid this year. EA actually has him as one of the highest rated players on the team at 84 overall, which I would say matches a lot of other projections I see. There’s always surprises coming out of camp, but he’s a contender for a starting corner spot in Blue and Orange.
The rollercoaster in the DB room the last few years has been an odd one to follow (Going from the worst in the universe to actually quite good for some reason?), but count me as a believer that he’ll make this season a good one.
Is he on Twitter?
@Lil_RicoJr is the handle, and of course he is, he’s a DB. JL Skinner enshrined that legacy.
Completely made up fact
JeRico still hasn’t forgotten the day Costco made all their muffins small, which as he himself put it, was “a true end of an era”. However, he claims the greater crime was when they relaxed their best muffin ever right after that transition, the Butter Pecan muffin, and promptly never sold them ever again.

I don’t want to see him matched up with a 6’4″ receiver on an obvious fade route. However, I see him really messing up opponents on blitz packages.
11:00 is okay, but 11:59 is cutting it too close.
