How’d he get to The Blue™?
After playing two seasons at Laney College, A’Marion entered the transfer portal looking to move up from the junior college ranks. His cousin Jordan Mims plays at Fresno State, and he quickly garnered an offer from the Bulldogs, but McCoy held out and eventually committed to Boise State after a visit in December 2022.

Career Highlights
A productive cornerback at Laney College, McCoy had 62 tackles, 9 PBU’s, 2 forced fumbles (one recovered) and six interceptions (one for a pick six) in two seasons.
More recently, he showed solid coverage in the Bronco Spring Game, and finished spring practice with the most INT’s on the team.
2023 Prospectus
Mr. McCoy is definitely going to see the field this season, it’s just a question of whether he starts on the field or the bench. With Markel Reed, Jaylen Clark, and Kaonohi Kaniho in the mix for the two starting cornerback slots, he’s got great shot at making the starting lineup with a solid fall camp performance.
Is he on Twitter?
Seems like that’s a no, unless you know better than us.
Completely made up fact
Likely as a result of growing up near Xerox’s PARC complex in Palo Alto, A’Marion is a vintage computer nerd who collects and restores old machines. Ask him about his HP Luggable!
