There’s actually two members of the Boise State football team that wear #33, so despite today actually being 20 days out from the season, we will actually be highlighting…both of them. Because there was a bit of a mix-up 13 days ago! So, with that out of the way, let’s get to…

2023 Prospectus

Cortez has been mentioned frequently by the coaching staff in his two off-seasons here as someone that works hard and stands out. He’s added some size recently too. So, while we don’t know sure sure if he’ll be a starter, he will probably get a lot of playing time in his final year if he can stay healthy.

Is he on Twitter?

Affirmative.

Completely made up fact

Cortez’s borderline iconic spectacles aren’t actually to help him. In reality, they’re a Harrison Bergeron-esque imposed limitation that makes his vision blurry in order to give others a chance to compete with him!
