#83, Chris Marshall, Junior, WR

Credit: Broncosports.com

Stats

Height: 6’3

Weight: 208

High school: Fort Bend Marshall HS (Missouri City, Texas)

How’d he get to The Blueâ„¢?

Chris had one of the longest roads to the Blue. He was one of the top receiver prospects in the country in 2022, eventually committing to Texas A&M. He had a solid freshman season there, including 3 catches in against Alabama. He transferred to Ole Miss after some off the field issues, and the same reason took his spot from him in Mississippi. He spent this last year at Kilgore JC, leading them to a national title appearance while averaging 20 yards/catch on 21 catches.

Nickname

“The Sheriff”

This town ain’t big enough for the both of us because Chris Marshall is literally 6’3 208lbs. Has the talent to be a superstar this year, and that’ll certainly merit a star on his sheriff uniform.

Look-alike

Lenny Kravitz would need to chop some dreads and drop the shades if he wants to be like this potential new star WR in Boise.

Career Highlights

His high school tape is silly, but I don’t think this is where he imagined he’d be in his Junior season. Still has time to make a career for himself though!

2024 Prospectus

Massive wild card. I can see a scenario where he’s our most talented receiver since Titus Young or one where he doesn’t see the field at all. I’m expecting him to be an impact player this year, but let’s be patient and see what father time is cooking up for us.

Is he on Twitter?

I have yet to find one for him, but the above video indicates he at least has an Instagram to follow. Maybe it’s a good thing he doesn’t have a Twitter?

Completely made up fact

Since coming to Boise, Chris has one singular goal: beat Blitz in a race this fall. He wants to do it right, none of that Gronk cheating stuff. Should he do that, he will have a chance to be remembered as the greatest athlete in human history.
