Today can be divided by seven evenly. Math is super awesome, amiright? Coincidentally enough, today’s entrant technically doesn’t have number 21 (he’s actually number seven) but we already have someone at that number so he’s here. And, yes, he was 21 last year. With 21 Days until kickoff we have — Cornerback A’Marion McCoy

Stats

Height: 6′

Weight: 176 lbs

High school: Menlo Atherton HS, East Palo Alto, CA

How’d he get to The Blue™?

Mr. McCoy spent two years at Laney College and wanted to move up. Initially considered a Fresno lean (ew), he did a good by choosing Boise State.

Nickname

“The Real McCoy”

I totally plagiarized this from Ryan’s write up last year. But it’s a good one!

Ok, I am kind of proud of this one. He totally resembles The Greek Freek Giannis Antetokounmpo

Career Highlights

In his first year at Boise State he put up numbers to the tune of all fourteen games played, 15 total tackles, and three interceptions (one in the MWC championship game). That garnered him All-Mountain West Honorable Mention. He also got a bunch of preseason hype as well.

2024 Prospectus

If Mr. McCoy can keep up his trajectory, he’s going to have himself a good year. I’d wager at least 25 tackles, five interceptions, and at least a second team All-Mountain West selection. The Broncos are going to need this output to make sure they ride the momentum from the coaching turnover and the championship season. Very excited to see what Mr. McCoy is able to follow up with.

Is he on Twitter?

Completely made up fact

A’Marion has that (possible relative) superfan that shows up to games in a 21 jersey with a pet snake. In reality, though, that snake belongs A’Marion and is his good luck charm. If you see a snake in the stands, expect #21 to do something cool!
