Memphis and NIU both lost which opened the door for Boise.The broncos need to destroy WSU who barely beat SJSU. No slip ups broncos! You simply have no choice.
Liberty…is the stinker in the punch bowl. I would hope to high heaven the playoff board wouldn’t make that mistake again. But you never know. Their schedule is such garbage.
Given tOSU is ranked #3 after beating such powerhouses as Akron, W Michigan, and Marshall, I don’t have much faith in the playoff board doing their job either. Homerism, anyone?
My only concern is everything except the offense.

I think the AP has learned their lesson about Liberty (I think they only have 3-4 votes). Still, the uncomfortable reality is that we absolutely must run the table. If we win out + win the MWC Championship Game, we are IN the CFP! If we stumble again and have 2 losses, it’s going to take a miracle.
To your point, it comes down to coaching. I don’t mean technique or schemes but having a hand on the throttle. A coach and his staff must know how to harness and use their potential. It has to be regulated from opponent to opponent and situation to situation. Coach D is inexperienced in this aspect of coaching. I hope he seeks the advice of those who have gone before him. That said, it’s his team, he knows it better than anyone. I hope he knows it good.
