Gosh it feels good to see these numbers get lower. One of the world’s greatest constants.

Stats

Height: 6′ 5″

Weight: 222 lbs

High school: Centennial HS, Corona, CA

How’d he get to The Blue™?

By way of an initial commitment to Texas and deciding to take his talents to Boise State. Keawe, who is the son of a former UFC fighter Travis Browne and whose step mom is Rhonda Rousey, was a former three-star athlete out of Centennial HS.

Keawe had an impressive list of offers which included: USC, Arizona, BYU (eh, maybe not that impressive), Cal, Maryland, and–well–others. He did the right thing by signing on the dotted line for Boise State.

Nickname

“K”

Mr. Browne’s first name is pronounced KAY-ah-vay but there’s going to be a LOT of folks who won’t bother looking that up.

Actor Boyd Holbrook but, like, with brown hair.

Career Highlights

As noted above, Keawe was a three-start out of high school. How did he get there? During his senior season he had 469 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He played two seasons at defensive end totaling 80 tackles, 16.5 TFLs, 9.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

2026 Prospectus

The tight end corps is fairly young going into the fall. Of the eight guys on the roster, only two are upper-classman (Matt Wagner a R-JS, and Austin Terry a R-SR). Odds are: Mr. Browne is going to sit the season. Or, at most, get a few games in up to the allotted four. Interestingly enough there are no tight end transfers (currently). All have come from high school. The novelty.

Can’t wait to see Browne on the Blue but heavy rotation most likely won’t happen till next year.

Is he on Twitter?

I think so?

Completely made up fact

Mr. Browne is very studious about his sleep, opting for at least eight hours every night. In fact, to help with his episodic learning and alertness*, he always makes sure to wear his sleep mask. Vital for his nightly ritual.
