Wouldn’t you know it, I posted about Mr. Terry last year. Since nothing really changed about that journey, I am just going to plagiarize myself here.

Mr. Terry comes from the far-flung city of Tumwater, WA. He was a three-star athlete per 247Sports. He had offers from Arizona, Air Force, California, Kansas, Nebraska, Tennessee, and UCLA. He had some other offers but I got lazy. At any rate he chose the Broncos so that’s all that matters.

Career Highlights

He’s made Academic All-Mountain West for the past three years (only year he didn’t get the nod was his freshman year, slacker). And last year he was National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. That’s the important stuff. The on the field stuff is… not as eventful. he’s played in 33 total games and two receptions so far. Which there is absolutely room for a blocking tight end in every football scheme. Maybe he’ll have more stats this year?

2026 Prospectus

Well. Maybe he might. He is the most tenured tight end on the roster being the only RS Senior. I am curious if I had someone else in my head but I hear of Terry a lot but maybe I am substituting someone else. At any rate, Mr. Terry has only started one game so far (and, by my count is infinitely more collegiate games that I have ever started) so maybe this will be the year he gets the full-time nod? I feel like we keep saying something to the effect of, “this is the year of the tight end,” and it doesn’t seem to quite materialize.

Against my better judgment, I’ll bite! This is the year!
