How’d he get to The Blueâ„¢?

Mr. Tanner came to the Broncos as a walk-on. Which, if history is on our side, bodes pretty well. Broncos have been able to do a lot with those types of players. While at RMHS he played both sides of the ball and had 97 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and an INT during his senior season. Dude was a bus.

2026 Prospectus

It’s always hard to predict how guys will reacclimate to the college game after extended time away, but there are plenty of cases where the extra two years of maturity (physical and otherwise) are a huge advantage. Let’s hope it’s the latter in his case. As for on-field performance, he closed out the spring game this year with a 40 yard interception returned for a touchdown. What that means for his actual role on the depth chart is unknown, but it can’t hurt! I would anticipate that Ty spends his first season back as a rotational reserve and special team ace, with the possibility of more playing time in the future.

Is he on Twitter?

Completely made up fact

After people kept asking him if he was a big Terminator 2 fan because of his nickname, he decided to reach back to hallowed antiquity (for him) and review the James Cameron classic. He was so impressed he went as Arnold’s terminator for Halloween.
