*Plot twist!* today is six days out from the opener in Seattle, but that’s not the jersey number we’re going to be profiling today. No, that honor is going to go to a specialist that actually dons a 45 on his chest…and back…and sometimes on his helmet.

How’d he get to The Blue™?

Wyatt signed as a two star recruit with Boise State in February of 2022. This came on the heels of a rather impressive career in Washington high school football. He was named 2nd team all-state in three separate years. As a senior, 90% of his kicks were touchbacks, he averaged 42 yards per punt, and he made 100% of his 47 extra point attempts. In that season, he only had the opportunity to kick five field goals (and made four of them) but one of them was a career-long 54-yarder.

2023 Prospectus

Jonah Dalmas is returning and will be the primary kicker. He also was the kickoff specialist for the final eight games of 2022. However, perhaps Wyatt will be able to take over that role while he accumulates some additional experience behind Jonah.

Is he on Twitter?

Yes and he’s got a leg!

Completely made up fact

50 yards is actually nothing to Redding. In reality, he can kick a football over them mountains.
