Notable Notes
- No changes. The ship is on a steady course heading into the ‘ship!

So, just curious, but why did 15 (Fulton) come in for one snap when Taylen lost his helmet during the AF game instead of 0 (Tiller)?
Fulton hasn’t been listed on the QB depth chart at all.
However, he did pass for a two-point conversion.
Going to be a good one! The boy is driving up from 29 Palms. Should I send him the lucky hat? Should be transferable right?
This is off-topic but I’ve been looking at the transfer portal. It seems QBs are nothing more than hired guns; aimlessly moving from town to town, hired by whoever pays them the most NIL money.
What that means for me as a fan; not only do I have to fight inflation but I may be paying a dollar more for a pound of coffee and I used to be able to get a wide-screen or a rifle if I bought a new car–those days are over.
It’s been like that for a few years now. The Ohio States and Alabama’s load up with 3 – 5 star QB’s and then pick one at the end of spring camp and the other’s transfer. I don’t understand why a QB wouldn’t look at the roster of a school they are going to commit to and evaluate their odds of being the guy a year or two in. Of course I have no real physical talent and probably don’t understand the drive to be competitive at the elite level like these guys do. The transfer thing also doesn’t usually… Read more »
Katin Houser, a former BSU commit, from Michigan State has entered the portal.
I understand wanting to play at The Shoe or Bama but sometimes, as you mention above, look at the roster–what are the odds? The idea, to me, is to take snaps in college games–any college. Look at Jordon Love, Josh Allen, and Derek Carr; they went where they could take snaps. It paid off. I’d just like to be their agent. I think of guys like Tate Martell. He went to OSU. Then to Miami. And finished at UNLV. He hardly produced enough stats for a good game. He chose the P5 twice. He should have gone someplace where he… Read more »
Agree. TG would not start at most amateur football clubs. I was going to say schools, but there isn’t a lot of schooling these days. Lol.
This is should be an FKWG article. Could be an in-depth look at it.
Gaitlan Bair decommited. According to 247, that dropped Boise State about twenty positions in the recruiting ratings. They went from 66th to 86th. Apperently, Bair will spend a two-year mission before entering college.
That’s fine. Go play secret agent for 2 years then return to the mothership (BYU) and toil in mediocrity. Can be a 27 year old college football player.
New deal with the PAC 2!

Obviously still a lot to be figured out there. I don’t quite understand the arrangement with respect to who plays who when. I would hope our broncos get a shot at both of them.
The young man has to do what’s best for him. It’s a long way from Burly to Ann Arbor or wherever.
A couple of years back bsu had a kid come home from his mission. he stayed for a year and went to byu. didn’t see much action. I think he has a couple of years of eligibility remaining.
The mission thing works out for BYU in a lot of ways. Kids go out for 2 years and pump iron and mature up. BYU has some old boys that are pretty darn big. But if you’re Boise State I don’t know how you can accommodate that. If they are committing then you expect….. I don’t know, a commitment?
BSU has had some recruits who have returned from their mission. I think Riley Whimpey did so.
