Stats
Height: 6′ 3″

How’d he get to The Blue™?
By being a good footballer of course. Boise State came a callin’ and Lauter decided to come to Boise State. Open and shut case.
Nickname
“Matty Ice”
Super-original nickname that has never been utilized before. I’m shocked!
Look-alike

I know I am super off-base here but, mannn, he’s giving me Michael Landon vibes. I think it’s the hair.
Career Highlights
First and foremost, dude is smart. He’s made the Academic All-Mountain West two years running. So that’s good. As for production on the field he’s got 13 career receptions, 197 yards, three TDs. He’s also got three tackles. Versatile!
2024 Prospectus
Will this year be the year that the tight ends as a position group really break out? The answer to that is a resounding: Maybe! Luke Voorhees and Lauter are the ‘senior statesmen’ of the group as redshirt juniors. The Broncos are getting a QB who is going to play a little different than the athletic Taylen Green. So, maybe, we should see more tight end passes in the flat? I think everyone is looking for the a true tight end resurgence maybe this is Lauter’s year?
Is he on Twitter?
Completely made up fact
Folks routinely confuse Boise State’s Lauter with Taylor Lautner (probably the abs?) so Lauter told Lautner to stop being so popular. And it worked! Lautner’s last movie was ‘Home Team’ starring Kevin James. So. You know. It worked.
