Notable Notes
- Yet again, there were no adjustments made to the depth chart and all “official” starters remain the same.
- As reiterated multiple times by the coaching staff, there is no QB controversy, and Taylen is still the starter, if healthy. Now…if you want to wonder if it was actually cramps or something else? I’ll throw on a tinfoil hat with you, but that’s a pretty minor conspiracy, if it even is one at all.

Has Prince played in a game yet? He has consistently been listed on the 2 deep but I don’t see him in games and I know he doesn’t have any stats. I honestly expected more out of Penry, Bowens, and Whiting too. Someone needs to turn into “the guy” more than our second string running back. Prince is so big and so fast….I know he is new but I would guess if he was struggling with the playbook they wouldn’t have him listed on the two deep. Let the ball fly and let him jump up and get it. He… Read more »
I want to say I saw him in on a few plays last week? Coaches loved him in the offseason, but the wide receivers in general seem to be struggling. Outside of Cobb’s touchdown they haven’t done anything notable so far
Where is Howard Brown and Kaden Dudley? I’m guessing they are injured but I have yet to see them anywhere. I know Austin Bolt is banged up but at least he walked the stadium to high-five the fans at the last game. We could really use all three of them ASAP.
I imagine the guys at FKWG know due to their press pass but maybe can’t say.
I wish we had special top secret information due to being credentialed, but we don’t haha. Sometimes we’ll see someone in a boot or something, but we’re not allowed to comment on it if we do. I have not seen anyone in one lately though.
Ftr, though, Kaden Dudley returned three kicks in Washington, but I’m not sure about since.
Yeah, I think Penry has nice straight line speed on kickoffs but not much wiggle. Kaden has that ability. Also, once T-Crowe got hurt, it would have been nice to have Kaden available. Although, I love that they finally got Dubar some reps. The kid has some jets.
He had concussion from the first return. Did not come out of the locker room in the second half. He could have provided a lot of help last week with Holani out. He is explosive…just needs to get more touches
So this is my understanding about injuries: There’s laws about publishing medical information for an individual. Coaches only comment on it as a courtesy for fans, but depending on local laws will only say so much. Idaho is on the stricter side of confidentiality. Professional sports is different since there’s financial implications for the individual player based on their injury status, and publishing that information is part of validating everything. Most players have a clause in their contract that guarantees payment if a football-related injury causes the player to miss games, but not for non-football injuries. For example, if an… Read more »
Kaden Dudley was out last week for concussion.
He was hit (should have been targeting, in my opinion) on his first kick return. He is good to go this week.
In this commenters opinion, this would be a great game to challenge some players. Just flat out tell them that we are going to find out who (besides #2) wants to be a playmaker. All positions open. You will have opportunities. Let’s see what you can do. Both motivates the starters and opens the door for some younger talent to show what they have. I would split series between Madden and Green too. He may not be the answer, but like any other position the pressure needs to be there. Also, I wouldn’t let Jeanty touch the field past a… Read more »
Just sort of an observation. Green was over on the sidelines bouncing around on his toes. It was said he cramped up. With a lot of guys, the coach has to pull them off the field. Teams play harder for a QB who plays limping, battered, bloodied, and bruised.
Yeah, something is not right with Green. I would say that he has regressed this year as a passer. Also, he seems to be overthinking and Hamdan seems intent on making him a pocket passer – that isn’t going to work. My guess is that he could have come back, but the coaches decided to get a peak at what Madsen could do?
They should of slid Dirk a check and told him write a number on it
14 just doesn’t have it. Every game he gives up big plays but coaches keep him in. 2 senior wr can’t catch smith can’t catch
