Notable Notes
- Austin Bolt has replaced Eric McAlister as the starting X receiver
- Chase Penry has returned to the depth chart as an “or”, alongside Stefan Cobbs. Cole Wright has also returned to the depth chart as their primary backup, replacing Jackson Grier.
- Ben Dooley is now officially listed as the starting left guard.
- Mason Randolph is now officially listed as the starter at center and Garret Curran has been bumped to the starting spot at right guard.
- In addition to backing up at DT, Max Stege has been added to the depth chart as a three way “or” with Hassanein and Cortez Hogans at DE.
- George Holani is listed atop the running back chart with the co-starter “or” designation between him and Ashton Jeanty. Breezy Dubar is the primary back-up to both of them. Is George listed first (now that he’s healthy) purely as a nod to his seniority? Honestly…probably.
- Kaniho has been removed as a backup field side corner and has instead been added to the depth chart at nickel, behind Oladipo.
Two sites have Madsen over Green. First Kick states this is released by the school. I’ll go with First Kick–“or.”
I am very interested to see if Green plays at all, and if Jeanty plays. I think that will tell the story on whether the rumor mill rings true.
If Jeanty is healthy why wouldn’t he play?
I agree, if healthy there is no reason not to play. If he had indicated he’s going elsewhere–goodbye.
I agree too. I just think this will be an indication of whether or not we are going to have a mid season exodus.
Because he intends to transfer.
I wondered why he didn’t travel with the team to Fresno. Can’t injured players travel? Usually, when a player is left home it is for some sort of disciplinary action.
I have no idea. All just pure wild speculation. But I think tomorrow will be telling. That’s all I’m saying.
A little more than 2 years ago everyone was talking about 50-burgers.
Well, one person was. Ploughfense. Lol.
Honestly though, despite a lot of our woes, the offense probably hasn’t been the deciding factor! Who knew our defense would be the weak link?
Tomorrow should be a good tune up for Madsen should he start the whole thing.
I think I’ll have my 50 burgers from In and Out before the Broncos have theirs. That’s a challenge.
Was not impressed with in and out. Fries were hot garbage. Burger was okay but I’d rather have whataburger or 5 guys. Fries gotta compliment the burger!!
I’ll bet Broncos trounce New Mexico today. There are a lot of people talking about the team collapsing like a black hole (that includes me… lol) and nothing brings a team together like some good ole fashioned adversity. The receivers that will be playing today have a lot to prove. Holani and Crow do too. They step up to the moment and DOMINATE.
Broncos 56
New Mexico 13
I pretty much judge a burger on the burger itself and not the sauce they put on it. I always figure when they load it with a bunch of crap, they’re trying to hide something from me–like a bad burger. However, there is one thing that can really ruin a good burger; that’s an old bun. I hate it when a place has a good burger and destroys it by using yesterday’s bun–no pride.
Totally agree…In & Out was massively disappointing. After all the years of living in Idaho and not having access BUT hearing from a multitude of people how amazing it is….nope. It made me feel proud of our Idaho burgers. Maybe I am spoiled. My definition of burger is too high….but was not even close to impressed. I am probably on an fbi watchlist for posting this.
Yeah I don’t get it, but a lot of people love it. They opened one in Keizer, or by I-5 and I drive by it every day. Always a line that wraps around the lot. And it’s been open for about 5 years at this point.
Always and forever….Go Broncos!! Love it!
A lot to prove today boys in blue! Blue collar. Next guy up. Can we keep moving forward. This is crazy town with NIL and transfer portal and illegal recruiting…how do we find our identity amongst that madness? I am on the edge of my seat to see what’s next….but…always and forever, GO BRONCOS!!
New Mexico struggles to defend the run. Not much else to say.
Wow. The commentators talking about a MSU QB ” he originally committed to BSU but he wanted to play big time football so he committed to MSU.”
A Michigan State QB? Obviously he wanted to watch big time football curb stomp them live in person. Lol.
